元東急電鉄5200系デハ5201。1958年東急車輛製造製。日本で初めてステンレス鋼を車体外板に用いた車両。1986年に架線電圧昇圧となり車両更新を図った上田交通に譲渡され、デハ5201は電装解除しクハ化。1993年に7200系（東急7200系を譲受）導入に伴い廃車。僚車モハ5251は東急に引き取られ、「東急車輛産業遺産制度」第1号として東急車輛製造で保存されている。クハ5201はパンタグラフ等を撤去し倉庫となったが、2006年、イベント用に整備され松本電鉄（東急5200系の兄弟車5000系を譲受して使用していた）からパンタグラフを譲受し外観整備。</p>
