中央大学文学部卒業。2019年に日本ファルコムに入社。

高校生の頃に英雄伝説 空の軌跡 the 3rd「Overdosing Heavenly Bliss」に衝撃を受けてゲーム音楽クリエイターの道を志したようだ。

入社後半年はデバッグを担当。なので「イースIX -Monstrum NOX-」にはサウンドスタッフとしては関わっていない。実際イースIXでは「品質管理」としてクレジットされている。またイースIXのOSTでは氏の曲名案が一部採用されている。その後はサウンドスタッフとして曲制作に携わりそして2020年「英雄伝説 創の軌跡」で作曲デビューを飾った。

通常戦闘曲として採用された「Wind-Up Yesterday!」は古口氏の曲だが評価するファンは多く既に人気曲となっていて氏の作風はファンに受け入れられたようだ。jdkコンポーザーとして順調なスタートを切ったと言えるだろう。その後「黎の軌跡」ではタイトルテーマ「黎き狭間の中で」や通常戦闘曲「OPEN THE SHARD!」、街曲「工学都市バーゼル」、イベント曲「曇り空の向こう側」、エンディングテーマ「KURO - beyond the dawn -」など主要な楽曲を多数手掛け萩生田氏氏以来の新人の活躍となった。確かな音楽的背景とファルコム音楽への高い理解度を持つ古口氏の楽曲によって数年ぶりに新しい息吹をファルコムサウンドにもたらしたと言えるだろう。

Graduated from the Faculty of Letters, Chuo University, and will join Nihon Falcom in 2019.

When he was a high school student, he was shocked by The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd "Overdosing Heavenly Bliss" and decided to become a game music creator.

For the first six months after joining the company, he was in charge of debugging. Therefore, he was not involved in "Ys IX -Monstrum NOX-" as a sound staff. In fact, he is credited as "Quality Control" in Ys IX. In the OST of Ys IX, some of his song title ideas were adopted. After that, he was involved in music production as a sound staff, and made his debut as a composer in "The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki" in 2020.

"Wind-Up Yesterday!", which was used as a regular battle song in the game, was probably written by Koguchi. This song has already become a popular song among many fans, and it seems that his style has been welcomed and accepted by the fans, so we can say that he has made a good start.
